There are many options available from the many styles of asphalt shingles, to cedar shake, slate, metal and composite, EPDM, TPO and more. Each style roof comes with a different life expectancy from the short range of 10 years on a flat roof, up to lifetime products. As with any other product and service, the price to install these various roofs will range in price greatly. At KMI, we offer free estimates and have a no pressure sales approach when we meet. What you can expect when you call KMI for your roofing? No Pressure Free Estimates All estimates for roof replacements or repairs and storm damage inspections are free. When you schedule an estimate with KMI, we will show up promptly in a lettered work truck. We will greet you, discuss your project, measure the roof, take pictures, and then provide you with a printed estimate on the spot. We will leave samples if you wish, and we can also email you any and all pictures we take of your property. One advantage of roof estimates and inspections is the flexibility to complete them with or without the owner being present. If your schedule does not allow for a good meeting time, we can perform the estimate, then follow up with a phone call or email. No Commissioned Salesmen KMI does not hire commissioned salesmen. Through the entire process you will work with one representative of KMI’s management. You will not have to worry about being upsold on unnecessary items, or if you will be shuffled between multiple representatives. Full Replacements and Repairs Whether you need a full roof replacement or a minor repair, we will be happy to handle your project. *We do not put new roofs on top of old roofs, or “layover”. All new roofs have complete tear offs. Lay overs may save you some money in the short run, but it will cost you more in the long run. With layovers you lose your warranty, you will age your new shingles more quickly, you add unnecessary weight to your structure, and you will not be able to repair any decking if necessary.* Roof Top Deliveries and Same Day Debris Haul Away As homeowners, we understand the hassle projects can cause to your daily life. When we install a new roof, we will deliver all your materials to the roof top so that they are out of your way. If for some reason materials are not able to be delivered to the roof top, we will not deliver the materials more than a day in advance. Dumpsters can be a big inconvenience and we do not utilize them for trash removal. We use dump trailers that our crews bring with them the day they start the project and leave with them when they are finished. All Work Has A Warranty While the warranty differs between repair and various complete replacements, KMI stands behind all of our work and will give you a written warranty upon completion of the project. In addition to our in house warranties, KMI is able to offer longer than standard warranties on both Certainteed shingles and Tamko Shinlges. We are able to do so because we are certified as a Shingle Master with Certainteed, and we are St Louis' first TamkoPro. |
